Help us to destroy the myth that protesting cannot change the world by uploading your 1999 WTO protest experience to the Battle in Seattle archival project.

The first 100 entrants will receive limited edition stickers designed by Shephard Fairey’s Studio Number One.

DIRECTIONS

There are 3 ways to tell your story — videos, photos, writing. Follow the steps below!

VIDEO

* Record a video of yourself telling your story of the Seattle protests. You can also create a slideshow of photos with your own voice over using iMovie (Mac) or MovieMaker (Windows).

* Click on the “Share Your Story” link. This will open the Youtube “Post A Video Response” page.

* If you have a Youtube account login. You will be taken right to the upload page.

* If you don’t have a Youtube account, sign up. It takes just a minute. Then you will be redirected to the upload page.

* Upload the video you made. Make sure to keep you story to 5 minutes. Important — In the tags write: seattle1999

* Spread the word about this project. Send the link of your video to all your friends and ask them to upload a response

PHOTOS

Any photos you took during the Seattle Protest you can upload to the Flickr Page by clicking on the “Share Your Photos” link. This will open the Flickr Page.

WRITING

You can write you story and add it to the Activist Wiki. Contributing to the Wiki is easy:

* Click on the “Write Your Story” link. You will be taken to the Wiki Page.

* Sign up for a Wiki account. It takes just a minute. Then you will be redirected to the Battle Stories page.

* Click the “Easy Edit” button on the top right. You can post your story at the top.
